Privacy Policy

The short version

Rowbee has no servers and no accounts. We never see, collect, sell or share your projects, patterns, photos, yarn stash or counts. Everything you create stays on your device (and in the backups you choose to export).

Data stored on your device

Projects, counters, reminders, pattern files and text, photos, yarn and tool records, notes and crafting statistics are stored locally on your iPhone in the app's private storage and shared only with Rowbee's own widgets on the same device. Deleting the app deletes this data. Exported backup files go wherever you save them (for example Files or iCloud Drive) and are under your control.

Pattern reading and "Explain this row"

Reading text from PDFs, photos and scans uses Apple's on-device Vision framework. "Explain this row" uses Apple's on-device language model (Apple Intelligence) when your device supports it. Your patterns are not uploaded anywhere by Rowbee.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only when you scan a pattern or take a project photo. Photos you pick are copied into the app on your device. Rowbee does not access your library beyond the photos you choose.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple. To manage Rowbee Pro access we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase receipts from Apple — no name, email or project data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Analytics, ads and tracking

Rowbee contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across apps or websites.

Children

Rowbee does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
